Brian Beauvais with the Park County Archives will be presenting on Colonel William D. Pickett on June 29th at 10 am. You may have heard of Pickett Creek, Four Bear Ranch, or even the man himself. Colonel Pickett was a confederate Civil War veteran who made his home here in Meeteetse soon after Count Otto Franc founded the Pitchfork Ranch. Pickett was a sportsman, rancher, and politician. Brian Beauvais will present on Col. Pickett at 10 am in the Meeteetse Museums.
