Planning a visit over Labor Day weekend? The Meeteetse Museums will be open with special holiday hours so you can make the most of your long weekend!
On Saturday, September 5th, the main museum building will be open from 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM, and on Sunday, from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM. On Labor Day itself, Monday, September 7th, the main museum will welcome visitors from 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM, while the historic Bank Museum will also be open for special hours from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM.
During your visit, don’t miss our temporary Smithsonian Affiliate exhibition, Many Voices, One Nation: Meeteetse and the Changing West, which offers a fascinating look at how our local heritage connects to the broader history of the American West. Also, the America 250 Wish Walls will come down after Labor Day-be sure to get your wish for the future of our state and nation on the wall before it’s too late! These wishes will be saved in the Museum archive for posterity.
