Giving Tuesday

November 20, 2022, 5:00 pm - November 30, 2022, 12:00 am

Giving Tuesday is the Tuesday following Thanksgiving, Black Friday, and Cyber Monday that began several years ago to encourage a spirit of generosity to nonprofits.

We are participating this year and invite you to view (and donate to) our BetterWorld Campaign at https://meeteetsemuseums.betterworld.org/campaigns/giving-tuesday-meeteetse-gives.

We ask for your support to help fund educational and thought-provoking exhibits and programs, like the popular podcast “Meeteetse Stories” and the “Bison of the Bighorn Basin” project and virtual exhibit. Donations also go to support collections care. We invite you to join us to ensure we can continue serving our community for decades to come. Consider making a tax-deductible gift to advance our mission to promote discovery and learning by collecting, preserving, and interpreting the area’s heritage. Your gift goes a long way to provide essential support for our museum, its programs, exhibits, and collections.

The Meeteetse Museums’ Giving Tuesday campaign kicks off at 5pm on Sunday, November 20 and ends on Giving Tuesday itself, Nov 29 at 11:59pm. Please help us reach our goal of $3500. Our Labor Day Silent Auction sold 11 items and raised $2,548. Can you help us beat that?

If you prefer to give by check, that will also count towards our goal if received by Dec 10 – just make sure to put “Giving Tuesday” in the memo line. Check donations should be mailed to P.O. Box 248, Meeteetse, WY 82433.

With our mill levy, we can do some things. With memberships and donations, we can do more.

We rely on the bighearted support of people like you. Every donation makes a difference. Thank you for your support. The Meeteetse Museums keep the stories and memories of Meeteetse and its ghost towns alive because of YOU!
