Celebrate Labor Day weekend with the Meeteetse Museums! For Labor Day weekend, we are holding our annual silent auction, along with the Chatelaine Quilt Show, and have a guest speaker joining us on Saturday, Aug 31st, at 2pm. The main Museum will be open August 30th, 31st, and Sept. 2nd from 10-5. On Sunday, September 1st, the main Museum will be open from 10-3. On Labor Day, Sep. 2nd, the Bank Museum will be open from 10-1. The Quilt Show will run the entire weekend; be sure to check out the local artistry of the Chatelaine Quilt Guild! This year, our silent auction features a hardback copy of Brand of a Legend, handmade earrings from Stephanie Adams, Mountain View Roasters Coffee, a unique baby quilt, Mystic Monk Coffee, and so much more! We hope you’ll stop in throughout the weekend to see the auction items; the auction will run from August 30 to September 2nd at 5 PM, and will take place online as a silent auction. The presentation on the 31st is titled “Mission in the Midst of Conflict: Camp Story and the Presbyterian Church of the 1920s,” given by Nathan Vaughn, a 2022 UW history Master’s graduate. The Museums will be closed Tuesday, Sept. 3rd, reopening September 4th for fall hours (Tues-Sat, 10-4).
