Are you ready to feel the excitement and freedom of paint pouring on fabric but wonder how to actually do it? Learn how to make paint pours on fabric that can be stitched into fiber art or as stand-alone pieces. Join the Meeteetse Museums to take a workshop on paint pouring guided by Rhonda Schmeltzer. Through this workshop you will learn about what paints are needed, ratios and amounts, special effects such as making cells, and how to create brilliant abstract and organic pours. Pre-registration for this workshop is required to ensure enough supplies. The class will last from 9:30 am – 4 pm with an hour break for lunch. More information will be emailed to participants as we get closer to this fun event!
Pre-registration for events with limitations opens on May 3rd at 10 am for non-members. Members can register starting April 19 at 10 am. Registration can be done by calling (307)868-2423 or stopping by in person. Email or voicemail registrations will not be considered.
